Gobi Manchurian and Tandoori Chicken Banned at Goa Fair
The Bodgeshwar temple fair in Goa has banned the sale of gobi manchurian and tandoori chicken.
The temple committee made this decision because they received complaints that these foods were being prepared in dirty conditions, which could make people sick.
They are worried about vendors using bad ingredients like synthetic colors and MSG.
However, local shops selling omelette pao and Goan xacuti chicken are still allowed to operate.
The committee is making sure that only stalls with proper licenses from the FDA are allowed to sell food at the fair.
This is not the first time gobi manchurian has been banned at this fair; it happened in 2024 and 2022 as well.
Gobi manchurian and tandoori chicken banned at the annual Bodgeshwar temple fair in Goa due to hygiene concerns.
The ban is enforced by the Shri Bodgeshwar Temple Committee to prevent health hazards from unhygienic preparation.
Local shops selling omelette pao and Goan xacuti chicken are allowed to operate with proper FDA licenses.
Vendors are prohibited from using synthetic colors, MSG, and poor-quality sauces in their preparations.
