Adityanath Calls for AI Literacy Ahead of Literacy Day
Yogi Adityanath said people should learn about artificial intelligence as well as reading, writing and digital skills.
He said new technology can create opportunities in schools, hospitals, farming, factories and jobs.
He believes schools should teach values, discipline, confidence and responsibility too.
He compared this idea with older Indian traditions of holistic learning.
Lucknow is developing an AI City, while Kanpur is developing drone technology.
The state is also working to improve schools and reduce student dropouts.
Adityanath said teachers help students connect traditional knowledge with modern ideas.
He asked everyone to help people who cannot read or write and to support learning for all.
Yogi Adityanath said AI literacy is needed alongside digital literacy as technology rapidly changes lives.
He said AI, deep-tech and emerging technologies are creating opportunities in education, healthcare, agriculture, industry and employment.
Adityanath highlighted Lucknow’s developing AI City and Kanpur’s drone and unmanned aerial vehicle technology ecosystem.
