Rachakonda SHE Teams Apprehend 187 for Harassing Women
The Rachakonda SHE Teams, a special police unit, caught a lot of people for bothering women.
They received complaints from many places like metro stations and colleges.
Out of the people caught, some were adults, and many were children.
The police helped them by making them attend counseling sessions.
They also did surprise checks to catch people doing wrong and ran programs to teach about issues like child marriage.
Rachakonda SHE Teams apprehended 187 individuals for harassing women.
Complaints were received through various channels, including WhatsApp and social media.
107 of those caught were minors and received counseling from psychologists.
Six individuals were caught during decoy operations and fined.
Awareness programs on child marriage were also conducted by Rachakonda Police.
