MMMUT in UP to Establish Indian Knowledge System Department
Imagine a university that wants to teach you about really old Indian ideas.
This university is called MMMUT, and it's in UP, India.
They are going to start a new department just for this!
It's like a special school inside the university to teach things like old Indian writings, ways of thinking, and cool inventions from back then.
This follows new rules from the government that say schools should teach about India's history and traditions.
They will create classes about the Vedas, ancient inventions, and more.
While other schools have some of these classes, MMMUT will be the first in UP to have a whole department dedicated to it.
Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) will launch a new Indian Knowledge System (IKS) department.
The department will be the first of its kind in Uttar Pradesh.
The initiative aligns with the National Education Policy (2020).
The department will design courses, appoint faculty, and conduct exams.
Courses will include subjects like Vedic literature and ancient science.
