FTII Students Embrace Diverse Languages in Cinema

FTII Students Embrace Diverse Languages in Cinema

At a school in Pune called FTII, students are making movies in many different languages.

In 2023, out of 10 student films, only one was in Hindi.

The others were in languages like Marathi, Malayalam, Gujarati, and even some lesser-known languages like Mizo and Nagamese.

This shows that students are using their own languages to tell stories, which is a good thing because it makes movies more interesting and diverse.

It's like when you tell a story in your own words instead of using someone else's.

This can make movies more special and unique.
