IPO Rush Builds as Regulatory Approvals Near September Expiry

Many Indian companies want to sell shares to the public in September 2026.

They are hurrying because their permission to launch an IPO may expire on September 30.

An IPO is when a company first offers its shares on the stock market.

About 25 to 35 companies could try to raise as much as Rs 25,000 crore.

Four companies recently announced IPO dates between September 9 and September 11.

Two other IPOs had already ended and attracted many more applications than shares available.

Companies are also trying to list before larger IPOs from Jio Platforms and NSE arrive later in the year.

Pitru Paksha begins on September 26, and the article says new businesses are traditionally not launched during that period.
