Sneha sets course ablaze with 10-under 61, takes WPGT lead
A professional golfer named Sneha Singh played a fantastic round of golf on Thursday.
She finished the course 10 strokes under par, which is called 10-under.
She made seven birdies in a row near the end of her round.
A birdie means you finish a hole one stroke better than expected.
That amazing finish helped her jump to the top of the leaderboard.
She is now four shots ahead of the next player, Vani Kapoor.
Sneha won a big award in 2023 but has not won any tournament this season.
Before this round, she was not playing her best golf.
Now she has a great chance to win her first event of the year.
Tomorrow, 31 players will play the final round to decide the winner.
Sneha Singh played one of the finest rounds of her professional career, carding a 10-under 61 to take the lead in the WPGT 11th Leg at Clover Greens in Hosur.
She closed her second round with seven consecutive birdies from the 12th to the 18th hole.
The 22-year-old 2023 Order of Merit winner, winless this season, improved from an opening 2-over 73 to reach 8-under 134.
