Ajit Pawar Skips RSS Memorial Visit
Ajit Pawar, who is the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra and a leader of the NCP, did not go to a special place where the founder of the RSS is remembered.
This place is in Nagpur, and other important leaders like the Chief Minister and another Deputy Chief Minister went there.
Ajit Pawar has not gone to this place for three years in a row.
He says his party believes in being fair to everyone, not just one group.
Some people think this means there might be problems between the parties that are working together to run the state.
Others say Pawar is just focusing on making the state better.
The opposition parties think Pawar's party might not stay in power if they don't agree with the RSS.
Ajit Pawar skipped the annual winter visit to RSS founder Dr KB Hedgewar’s Smriti Mandir in Nagpur.
This is the third consecutive year Pawar has stayed away from the visit.
Pawar maintains that his party's ideology is based on secularism and development.
Opposition parties claim Pawar's absence indicates a rift within the ruling alliance.
Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde visited the memorial and praised the RSS's contributions.
