Raj Thackeray Visits Uddhav Thackeray on Birthday
Raj Thackeray, the head of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), visited his cousin Uddhav Thackeray, the chief of Shiv Sena (UBT), at his residence 'Matoshree' in Mumbai's Bandra area to wish him a happy 66th birthday.
This visit comes after a period of estrangement and marks a continued reconciliation between the two cousins.
They have been seen together publicly since July 2025, when they opposed government orders introducing Hindi as a third language in state schools.
They also joined forces to contest the January 2026 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) polls, although the BJP-led Mahayuti won the elections.
Despite their public reconciliation, they continue to lead different political parties.
