Boson Whitewater Launches 70kL Daily Recycled Water Project
Boson Whitewater and BWSSB have started a new project in Bengaluru.
They are using a special system to clean wastewater and turn it into high-quality water.
This water will be used by nearby industries and buildings to cool their machines.
The project makes sure that less fresh water is used and that wastewater is not wasted.
They are starting with 70,000 litres of water every day.
If this works well, they might expand it to other places in Bengaluru and even to other cities around the world.
Boson Whitewater and BWSSB launched a pilot project to recycle 70,000 litres of water daily.
The project uses an 11-step water recycling system to produce high-quality water from treated wastewater.
The recycled water will be supplied to industries and commercial establishments for use in cooling towers.
Boson Whitewater received a 50 Lakh grant under the Design Impact Awards initiative by Titan Company Limited.
The project aims to reduce freshwater dependence and prevent wastewater discharge into water bodies.
