36 Farmers Detained in Moga for Protesting Sand Mining FIR, Released Later
Farmers in India were upset because one of their friends, Gurdial Singh, got in trouble with the police for digging sand from his own farm.
The farmers felt this was unfair, especially since they had problems with floods before and wanted to use the sand.
To show their anger, about 36 farmers, some of them women, stopped trains by sitting on the railway tracks.
The police came and took the farmers away to make sure trains could run safely.
However, the police let them go later that night.
The farmers are planning to talk more about this issue to find a solution.
