J&K Girls Prepare Rakhis for Soldiers on Raksha Bandhan
In Jammu and Kashmir, young girls are making thousands of rakhis, which are like special bracelets, to give to soldiers.
They're doing this to show how thankful they are for the soldiers' protection.
These girls are from different schools called Seva Bharti Ashrams.
They make the rakhis with Indian materials, even using old clothes.
On Raksha Bandhan, a holiday to celebrate siblings, the girls will give these rakhis to the soldiers.
They will also tie rakhis to plants, showing they want to protect nature too.
Girl students are preparing over 10,000 rakhis for soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir.
The students are from various Seva Bharti Ashrams across Jammu and Kashmir.
The rakhis are made with Indian thread and beads, repurposing household waste.
