IGKV Cancels Plant Pathology Exam After Paper Leak Confirmed
A university in Raipur found that an agriculture test paper had been leaked.
The leaked test was the first-year Plant Pathology exam held on August 7.
Police discovered this while investigating a different Entomology paper leak from August 20.
A professor and five students were arrested in connection with the Entomology case.
The university cancelled the Plant Pathology exam.
Both affected exams will be held again in September.
The university began sending question papers through password-protected email instead of physical copies.
It also plans to add more security cameras.
Officials are considering other technology to help protect future exams.
Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya cancelled its August 7 first-year Plant Pathology examination after police confirmed the paper had leaked.
The discovery followed an investigation into an August 20 second-year Entomology paper leak.

Plant Pathology and Entomology examinations will be conducted again during the first week of September.
