Harish Rao Says Congress Stopped Siddipet Development Projects
Harish Rao spoke at a gathering marking ten years since Siddipet became a district.
He said the district made government services easier for people to reach.
He also said projects started under the earlier BRS government helped improve farming and local infrastructure.
Rao accused the current Congress government of stopping some projects.
He said farmers were facing power cuts and not getting enough irrigation water.
He called this an “artificial drought.”
He asked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to apologize to farmers and finish the crop loan waiver.
Rao claimed around 24,000 farmers in the constituency were still waiting for relief.
These claims were made by Rao at the meeting.
BRS leader Harish Rao accused the Congress government of halting development projects in Siddipet begun under the previous BRS government.
Speaking at a meeting marking Siddipet district’s 10th anniversary, he said the district was formed in 2016.
Rao credited irrigation projects and improvements to roads, drinking water, drainage and other infrastructure with benefiting the region.
He alleged that farmers face power cuts and irrigation shortages, and described the situation as an “artificial drought.”
