Nine Killed in South African Pub Shooting
On December 21, 2024, a group of 12 unknown people drove to a pub in a place called Bekkersdal, near Johannesburg, South Africa.
They started shooting at people inside and outside the pub, killing nine people and hurting ten others.
One of the people who died was a driver for a car-hailing service.
The police are now looking for the people who did this.
This is the second big shooting in South Africa in just three weeks.
South Africa has a lot of shootings, and many of them happen in bars.
The police think the guns used in these shootings are often illegal.

A manhunt for the 12 unknown suspects has been initiated by Gauteng Serious and Violent Crime Investigations and the Crime Detection Tracing Unit.
This is the second mass shooting in South Africa in three weeks, following a similar incident that left 12 dead earlier in the month.
