Bhopal FDA Inspects Restaurants Over Hygiene and Documentation Lapses

Food safety officials inspected several restaurants and food shops in Bhopal.

They looked at places in DB Mall, People's Mall and other parts of the city.

Some restaurants had uncovered rubbish bins or needed better cleaning.

Some did not properly separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods.

Several businesses could not show staff medical certificates or water test reports.

One restaurant did not have its food registration certificate available.

Officials collected food samples such as flour, paneer, chicken and potato products.

Some inspections happened after people complained through the CM Helpline.

The samples will help officials check whether the food meets safety standards.
