NMDC and Coal India Report Production and Sales Data for May

In May, NMDC, a company that sells iron ore, saw an increase in both its production and sales, particularly in Chhattisgarh.

Sales grew to 4.34 million tonnes compared to 2.82 million tonnes the previous year.

Coal India, another company, experienced a slight decrease in coal production but a steady offtake.

Coal production was 63.5 million tonnes, down from 64.4 million tonnes the year before.

The offtake, or amount sold, remained steady at 64 million tonnes.
