Lucknow Metro East-West Corridor Receives Approval for Expansion
Imagine a new train line, the East-West Corridor, is being built in Lucknow!
This train will go from Charbagh to Vasant Kunj.
It's like a shortcut for people in the city.
The government already said yes to the plan.
The train will have some parts underground and some above the ground.
There will be 12 stations where people can get on and off.
It will connect to the existing train line at Charbagh, so it's easy to switch trains.
This new line will help people get around crowded areas and new neighborhoods.
The project is estimated to be finished within five years.
The Public Investment Board (PIB) has approved the Lucknow Metro's East-West Corridor.
The corridor will link Charbagh to Vasant Kunj, as part of Phase 1B.
