MNS Sends Toy Cars to BMC Over Vehicle Upgrade Row
The Mumbai city council, called the BMC, wanted new cars because the old ones hurt people's backs.
They first wanted Scorpios for 20 lakh rupees, then changed to Innova Crystas for 23 lakh rupees.
A leader from the MNS, Sandeep Deshpande, sent toy cars to the BMC as a joke.
The BMC guards stopped the toys from entering and gave them back.
Some people, like former mayor Kishori Pednekar, said this was wrong and called it looting.
The current mayor, Ritu Tawde, said the contract lets them change cars if they need to and that she also has back pain, so the new cars are okay.

BMC security returned the toys after blocking entry.
BMC had earlier proposed buying Rs 20 lakh Scorpios, then Rs 23 lakh Innova Crystas due to back pain complaints.
