CCTV Shows MLA’s Daughter Slapping Cop at Karnataka Temple
Aishwarya, the daughter of MLA B Suresh Gowda, went to a temple in Karnataka.
She wanted to enter a special inner area for darshan without waiting.
A police officer named Savitha B Patil asked her to wait because other devotees were there.
They argued, and a video appears to show Aishwarya hitting the officer.
The officer then appears to hit Aishwarya back.
Other people stopped the fight.
Police filed a case against Aishwarya, while her father apologised and said the officer had insulted her first.
Reports disagree about the exact time of the incident and whether a counter-complaint was accepted.
CCTV footage shows Aishwarya, daughter of BJP MLA B Suresh Gowda, arguing with PSI Savitha B Patil at Aarti Ukkada temple.
The confrontation occurred on August 12 during Bhima Amavasya celebrations, though reports differ on whether it happened at about 4:30 pm or 8:15 pm.
The dispute reportedly began after Aishwarya was not immediately allowed into the temple’s sanctum sanctorum and was asked to wait in line.
The footage appears to show Aishwarya slapping Savitha, who then strikes back before bystanders separate them.
Police registered an FIR against Aishwarya, while allegations about a counter-complaint and Gowda’s account that the officer verbally abused his daughter remain disputed.
