Titan is a big Indian company that makes jewellery, watches and eyeglasses.

It just told everyone how much money it made in the first three months of its financial year.

Titan made a profit of ₹1,777 crore, which is 63% more than it made a year before.

That is a lot more money!

Most of the profit came from people buying lots of jewellery, especially during the Akshaya Tritiya festival.

Gold prices were steady, which helped people feel good about buying.

The tax on gold went up, and that gave Titan an extra ₹407 crore gain in this quarter.

Watches and eyeglasses also sold well, with both businesses growing by 21%.

Titan opened many new stores in India and in the Gulf region.

Its smaller new businesses, like perfumes and handbags, still lost money, but the company's boss said it was a strong start to the year.
