The Big Bang Theory's Original Title Was Almost 'Lenny, Penny, and Kenny'

Imagine a super popular TV show about funny scientists called 'The Big Bang Theory'.

Well, guess what?

It almost had a completely different name!

A new book tells us that the very first name they thought of was 'Lenny, Penny, and Kenny'.

In this first idea, the character Sheldon was going to be named Kenny, Leonard was Lenny, and Penny kept her name.

This name only lasted for a little while.

The people who made the show decided to change the characters' jobs from computer experts to scientists.

Because of this big change, they started thinking about names related to science.

They found the name 'The Big Bang Theory' and thought it was a much better fit for their show about science mysteries.

Even the catchy song at the beginning of the show mentions the big bang!
