Assam Cabinet Approves Infrastructure, Land, and Police Reforms

The Assam Cabinet has approved a Rs 115 crore plan to build and widen roads in several districts.

They also made changes to the police rules so more people can take a test to become assistant sub inspectors.

The Cabinet decided to use computers and the internet for land and revenue services to make things faster and more transparent.

They gave land to a religious organization and regularized the jobs of eight people working in Mumbai.

Additionally, they gave land rights to about 900 families and temporarily upgraded a job position in their office in New Delhi.

All these decisions are to make life better for the people in Assam by improving roads, making government services easier, and supporting cultural and religious tourism.
