Trump Threatens to Bomb Oman Over Strait of Hormuz Shipping

Two countries, the United States and Iran, have been arguing about a very narrow sea path called the Strait of Hormuz.

Many ships carry oil and gas through this waterway, and when fighting started earlier this year, the path got blocked.

America's leader, Donald Trump, told the small country of Oman not to make its own plan with Iran to let ships pass.

He warned that the American military would bomb Oman if it got in the way of the United States.

Oman has always been a peaceful country that helps big countries talk to each other, and it had reached an understanding with Iran about a new shipping route.

A 60-day agreement between the United States and Iran ended without a real peace deal.

The fighting has made the prices of oil and fuel go up a lot, which hurts people everywhere.

World leaders, including the United Nations, are asking everyone to calm down and find a peaceful answer instead of fighting.
