Heavy Rain Increases Hyderabad’s Weekend Rush Across City
Rain fell in several parts of Hyderabad on Saturday evening.
The showers came while many people were going out for the weekend.
Rajendranagar received the most rain in the city, with 12.3 millimetres recorded.
Charminar and other neighbourhoods also received showers.
Hyderabad was cloudy and breezy, with temperatures between 23.9°C and 31.1°C.
Some city rain gauges measured rain even though the main IMD station recorded none.
Other parts of Telangana also received rain, with Pargi recording 17 millimetres.
Forecasters said more rain or thunderstorms could happen in isolated places through September 4.

Rajendranagar recorded the city’s highest rainfall at 12.3 mm, followed by Charminar at 10.8 mm.
The city recorded a maximum temperature of 31.1°C and a minimum of 23.9°C.
Pargi in Vikarabad received Telangana’s highest rainfall at 17 mm.
