Hyderabad Begins Restoration of Historic Police Outposts
Imagine some very old buildings in Hyderabad, once used by police, are getting a makeover.
These buildings are super old, built around 1570!
They are being fixed up to look like they did when they were first built, using the same kinds of stuff.
The people in charge want to keep them looking exactly as they used to.
They're cleaning up the walls and getting rid of overgrown plants.
These buildings used to be police stations.
They haven't been used for a while, but soon they'll be handed back to the police, all fixed up and ready to go!
Restoration work has begun on two historic police outposts in Hyderabad.
The Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority (QQSUDA) is managing the project.
The project is funded by HMDA and executed by the Savani Heritage Agency.
The restoration aims to maintain the original look, using similar materials.
The outposts date back to the 1570s and served as part of Hyderabad's early infrastructure.
