Vizianagaram Celebrates Sirimanu Festival, Announces Temple Expansion
The Sirimanu festival in Vizianagaram has begun!
It started with a special ceremony at the temple.
A local leader announced plans to make the temple bigger and better, spending a lot of money on it.
The leader said that construction would start soon after another special event.
Also, everyone can visit the temple for free.
This is all part of the celebrations and improvements happening in the area.
The Sri Paiditalli Ammavari Pandirirata Mahotsavam marked the start of the Sirimanu festival.
The ceremony was held at the Ammavari main temple.
Rituals also took place at Vanangudi near the railway station.
An ₹80 crore temple expansion project was announced by MLA Pusapati Aditi Vijayalakshmi Gajapathiraju.
Free darshan will be offered to devotees as per the trustee's directive.
