TMC Leader Suggests Mamata Banerjee Lead INDIA Bloc Against BJP
A leader from a political group called the Trinamool Congress, Kalyan Bandyopadhyay, thinks that their leader, Mamata Banerjee, should be the main person representing a group of opposition parties called the INDIA bloc.
He believes this will help the INDIA bloc do better against another big political group, the BJP, all over the country.
He also feels confident that his own party will win the next election in their state, West Bengal, by a lot.
He doesn't think that a recent good showing by the BJP in a nearby state will affect West Bengal's election results.
TMC MP Kalyan Bandyopadhyay believes Mamata Banerjee should lead the INDIA bloc against the BJP.
Bandyopadhyay asserted the TMC will win the 2026 West Bengal assembly elections with a majority.
He dismissed concerns that the BJP's performance in Bihar would impact West Bengal.
The statement was made on Friday in Kolkata.
