KL Rahul, PETA Donate Mechanical Elephant to Kerala Temple
Cricketer KL Rahul and PETA India gave a special robot elephant to a temple in Kerala.
This elephant, named Padmanabhapuram Padmanabhan, looks like a real one but is made of metal and rubber.
It's used for temple events so they don't need to use real elephants.
This is the 13th mechanical elephant PETA has given to temples, with 8 in Kerala.
The temple committee is happy because they want to keep both people and animals safe.
Real elephants can sometimes hurt people, so this robot elephant helps prevent that.
The robot elephants have motors and are about as tall as a small bus.
