Sensex, Nifty Rise on Bajaj Finance Earnings
The two main stock market indexes in India, called the Sensex and the Nifty, went up a little bit on Friday.
They climbed because a big company called Bajaj Finance announced that it made a lot more money in its last quarter.
Many foreign investors also bought shares, which helped the market.
The price of oil went down, which also made the market feel better.
Some technology companies sold shares, which slowed the rise a bit, but overall the market was positive.
Sensex advanced 49.91 points to 77,970.95 in early trade.
Nifty rose 28 points to 24,343.65.
Bajaj Finance shares jumped over 6% after reporting a 28% YoY profit rise to ₹6,081 crore.
Foreign institutional investors bought ₹3,623.51 crore of equities.
