Manipur begins first rigid pavement road project
Manipur is building its first-ever concrete roads in the capital city, Imphal.
This is a big project to fix the bad road conditions and make the city safer.
The roads will be stronger and last longer.
The project is being done with help from a bank called the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
They are also fixing the drains to stop water from flooding the roads.
Right now, about 10% of the concrete roads and 4% of the drains are done, and half of the regular roads are finished.
This project will make traveling in Imphal much better.
