Chennai Team Makes Waves at Spogomi World Cup for Trash-Picking Competition
Imagine a game where teams race against the clock to pick up the most trash from the ground.
That's Spogomi!
A team from Chennai, called Chennai Super Klean, is really good at this game.
They even went to Japan to compete in the World Cup!
It's not just about picking up any trash; they have to sort it into different types, like recyclables and cigarette butts, which are worth more points.
The team leader, Sharun, has been working to clean up the environment for many years.
In their first World Cup, they came in sixth place.
Now, they are training even harder with new team members who are athletes, to try and win next time.
They believe that cleaning up can be fun and competitive, encouraging everyone to help make the world cleaner.
