Bumrah Out, Nabi Called Up for India‑Sri Lanka Tests
India’s star bowler Jasprit Bumrah can’t play the next two Test matches against Sri Lanka because he hurt his knee.
The cricket board, BCCI, picked a new player named Auqib Nabi from Jammu & Kashmir to take his place.
Nabi has been very good in India’s domestic cricket and has taken many wickets.
The Test series will start on August 15 and will be played over two games.
This change means India will have a new fast bowler in the team for the series.
Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of the India‑Sri Lanka Test series due to a left knee injury.
BCCI names uncapped right‑arm pacer Auqib Nabi from Jammu & Kashmir as his replacement.
Nabi has taken 104 wickets in two Ranji Trophy seasons, including 60 in 2025‑26.
The Test series starts on August 15 and will be played over two matches.
