Nigerian airstrikes kill militants in Borno

The Nigerian air force recently carried out airstrikes in the Borno state, targeting militants from groups like Boko Haram and ISWAP.

These strikes happened on January 15 and 16 in places called Musarram and Azir.

The military says they destroyed about 10 canoes and killed more than 40 militants who were planning attacks.

The strikes were successful in stopping these planned attacks and disrupting the militants' activities.

Borno state has been a hotspot for these militant groups for a long time, and the Nigerian military is trying to put more pressure on them to keep the area safe.
