Nayab Saini Criticizes Bhagwant Mann Over Punjab Promises
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini criticized Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann at a public event.
He said Punjab’s government had not fulfilled its promise to give women Rs 1,000 each month.
Saini also said Punjab was losing industries and jobs because of poor law and order.
He linked youth frustration with an increase in drug addiction.
Saini described welfare programs that Haryana provides to women and poor families.
These include monthly payments, cheaper cooking gas and help for self-help groups.
He said a Bharatiya Janata Party government would bring similar programs to Punjab.
He also promised crop purchases at minimum support prices and jobs without corruption or favoritism.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini accused Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of “passing time by cracking jokes.”
Saini questioned why the Aam Aadmi Party’s promised monthly payment of Rs 1,000 to Punjab women had not been delivered nearly five years into its tenure.
He blamed Punjab’s alleged poor law-and-order situation for industrial migration, fewer jobs and rising drug addiction among frustrated youth.
Saini highlighted Haryana schemes, including Rs 2,100 monthly assistance for 10 lakh women and Rs 500 LPG cylinders for eligible families.
He promised similar welfare, agricultural procurement and recruitment reforms in Punjab if the Bharatiya Janata Party forms the next state government.
