US Protests Demand Protection for Bangladeshi Minorities

People in the United States held peaceful protests in many cities to speak up about what they say is unfair treatment of Hindu and other minority groups in Bangladesh.

They want the world to pay attention and help protect these communities.

The biggest protest was in a place called Artesia, where hundreds of people marched and held signs asking for peace and safety.

They also mentioned past events, like a war in 1971, and asked other countries to recognize the harm done.

The Bangladeshi government says it is trying to keep all its people safe.

These protests happened just before an important election in Bangladesh, where some political parties are not allowed to participate.
