Azad: Opposition Walkouts Aid Government, Supports Smooth Parliament
Gulam Nabi Azad, a former Parliamentary Affairs minister, said that when the Opposition parties walk out of Parliament, it actually helps the government to pass laws.
He believes the Parliament should always function smoothly.
He mentioned a past experience when Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister, told him to focus on speaking instead of disrupting.
Azad also talked about the Pahalgam attack and the recent security operation, emphasizing his support for the forces' actions while also warning against human rights abuses.
He is also considering whether to continue his own political party, the Democratic Progressive Azad Party.
Gulam Nabi Azad stated Opposition walkouts benefit the government.
Azad supports smooth Parliament function, and cited Indira Gandhi's advice on it.
Azad discussed the April 22 Pahalgam attack and stated that the chapter should be closed.
Azad said he supports operations by security forces but with no human rights violations.
Azad expressed doubts on continuing his party, the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP).
