Darjeeling Philatelist Wins International Honour
Vivek Yonzone, a stamp collector from Darjeeling, won a big award called the Vermeil Medal.
He won this award for his special collection of stamps about stringed musical instruments, like guitars and violins.
His collection is called 'CHORDOPHONES – The Stringed Element of Music.'
It has 80 pages and shows the history and different types of these instruments.
A group of 16 judges chose his collection as the best in the thematic class.
This is not his first award; he has won many others before.
Vivek also teaches kids about stamp collecting and even started a club to help others learn about it.
He is very happy with his win and wants to keep collecting more stamps.
