CBSE Declares Class 12 Supplementary Result 2026, Pass Rate Up
CBSE is a big school board in India that runs exams for high school students.
It has just announced results for a special test called the Class 12 Supplementary Exam.
This test is for students who did not pass one or more subjects in their main exam.
Nearly three lakh students registered for it, and more than 2.75 lakh actually took the test.
Students can check their results online on the CBSE website or through an app called DigiLocker.
The exam was held on July 28, and practical exams ran from July 29 to August 4.
This year, 53.08% of compartment students passed, which is much better than last year's 38.36%.
The online result is just a temporary copy, and printed marksheets will be given out through schools.
Students who passed can now move forward with college admissions.
CBSE declared the Class 12 Compartment (Supplementary) Examination Result 2026 for compartment, six-subject and improvement candidates.
A total of 2,91,576 candidates registered for the supplementary examination, while 2,75,287 appeared.
The compartment category recorded a 53.08% pass percentage, up from 38.36% in 2025.
Results are available on cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in and the DigiLocker Results Portal at results.digilocker.gov.in.
Online scorecards are provisional, with printed marksheet-cum-passing certificates to be supplied through respective schools.
