Assam Employees Granted Special Leave to Visit Family
The Assam government is giving its employees two days off in November of 2025 to visit their parents and in-laws.
This is part of a plan called 'Matri Pitri Vandana.'
Employees can take leave on November 14 and 15.
To get the leave, they need to apply through a special online portal.
This initiative was announced by the Chief Minister.
The leave can be combined with the following Sunday, November 16, allowing for a longer period of time with family.
