Rio helicopter crash kills four, including three Colombian tourists
A helicopter ride in a big city in South America ended in a terrible accident.
The helicopter crashed and all four people inside died.
Three of them were visitors from a country called Colombia.
They were a grandmother, an aunt and a cousin.
The family had come to celebrate a girl's 15th birthday.
The birthday girl was not on the helicopter because it could only take three passengers at a time.
She was going to take another flight later.
The crash happened in a big forest park inside the city, near a famous lookout shaped like a Chinese pagoda.
Many tourists take helicopter rides to see the city from above.
After the crash, the city's mayor asked airplane safety officials to watch helicopter flights more closely.
Four people were killed when a helicopter crashed in Rio de Janeiro's Tijuca National Park on Saturday.
Firefighters confirmed the pilot and three women 'burned to death' in the crash.
The three women were Colombian tourists from the same family — a grandmother, an aunt and a cousin — who had come to celebrate a girl's 15th birthday.
The family group of six had split up because the helicopter could only take three passengers; the birthday girl was to take a second flight later.
Rio's mayor Eduardo Cavaliere asked Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency to step up monitoring of helicopter flights.
