Handloom Bazaar Opens in Vijayawada to Promote Traditional Crafts
A Handloom Bazaar has opened in Vijayawada.
It was organised by the Crafts Council of Andhra Pradesh.
The bazaar displays handloom products and traditional handicrafts.
It will run from October 1 to 4.
People can visit it from 9:30 a.m.
to 8:30 p.m.
The event is connected with Gandhi Jayanthi.
Officials said these crafts are important parts of Andhra Pradesh’s culture.

The Crafts Council of Andhra Pradesh inaugurated a Handloom Bazaar at PVP Square Mall in Vijayawada.
The bazaar is being held from October 1 to 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., to mark Gandhi Jayanthi.
NTR district collector Dr G Lakshmisha praised efforts to support weavers, artisans, and traditional crafts.
Handloom products from Venkatagiri, Pochampally, and Pedana are being promoted at special programmes.
The government plans to hold the SARAS Aajeevika Mela in Vijayawada and preserve Kondapalli and Etikoppaka artistic traditions.
