MP Urges New Police Station in Kharar
A member of parliament named Malvinder Singh Kang has asked the police in Punjab to open a new police station in a place called Sector 125, Kharar.
He said this because many new people have moved there, making the area very crowded.
The police station that's already there can't handle all the people, so he thinks a new one is needed to keep everyone safe.
MP Malvinder Singh Kang requested a new police station in Sector 125, Kharar.
The area has seen a significant population increase, with an estimated 60,000 residents.
Kang cited rapid urbanisation and migration as reasons for the growing law-and-order challenges.
The existing police infrastructure is reportedly under severe strain.
The request was made in a letter to Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav.
