CPI to Protest Attack on Nuns, Demand FIRs

The Communist Party of India (CPI) is planning a protest on September 5, 2025, in Narayanpur.

They are upset about an attack at Durg Railway Station involving nuns and tribal girls and want the police to file official complaints against the attackers.

The CPI believes the government is not protecting minorities and tribal people and also alleges the victims are being mistreated.

The protest will involve a sit-in and a gathering at the Narayanpur Collectorate.

The CPI is demanding justice and an end to such attacks.

The victims were arrested previously, accused of trafficking and forced religious conversion.
