Tribal Affairs Secretary Reviews Welfare Schemes During Indore Visit

Ranjana Chopra visited parts of Madhya Pradesh to see how tribal welfare programmes are working.

She spoke with people who receive help from these programmes.

At a residential school in Morod, she saw students learning in digital classrooms.

The school supports Scheduled Tribe children, including children from Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups.

She also visited a weaving centre in Maheshwar.

Women there make about 1,000 to 2,000 Maheshwari sarees each day.

Chopra met the weavers and learned about their work.

She also spoke with students, a NEET-qualified student, and people who received titles under the Forest Rights Act.
