Greece to Send Salvage Ship After Houthi Attacks in Red Sea
Greek ships were attacked in the Red Sea by Houthi militants, who said they were showing solidarity with the Palestinians.
Because of this, Greece is sending a special ship called Giant to help.
Giant can rescue people, help with pollution, and fight fires.
It's there to help Greek ships and sailors, and to protect shipping in the area after attacks by Houthi militants.
Greece is deploying a salvage vessel to the Red Sea to assist in maritime accidents.
The deployment follows attacks on two Greek vessels by Houthi militants.
The salvage vessel, named Giant, will support and protect Greek-owned vessels and seafarers.
Attacks on the two vessels marked a resumption of attacks by the Houthis.
The attacks occurred after the EU naval mission, Aspides, did not have assets in the area.
