Jio Platforms Begins Global Roadshow for Potential Record IPO

Jio Platforms, the company behind Reliance’s digital businesses, wants to sell shares to the public.

It plans to raise about $3.8 billion.

This could make the IPO India’s biggest public offering.

The company may be valued at about $137 billion.

Most of the money would be used to repay loans taken by Reliance Jio Infocomm.

Investors will be approached in places such as the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore and the United Kingdom.

Jio provides telecom services and is also expanding into cloud, artificial intelligence and enterprise networks.

The IPO would be Reliance group’s first public offering since 2008.
