5 Lakh Challans Issued on Haryana NH-44
In 2025, the Haryana Police issued nearly 5 lakh online challans for traffic violations on the Haryana stretch of National Highway-44.
They used special cameras to catch people breaking traffic rules.
At first, they were giving out about 50,000 challans every month, but now it's down to 30,000.
This shows that people are following traffic rules more carefully.
The project started on January 25, 2025, and uses 128 cameras to monitor traffic.
The police say this has also helped in controlling crime.
