Lust Stories 3 Explores Desire Beyond Sex and Scandal
Lust Stories 3 is a movie made up of four different stories.
The stories are about desire, which means wanting something strongly.
They show that desire is not only about sex.
It can affect friendships, marriages and how people see themselves.
One story is about people whose experiment changes their relationships.
Another shows people using attraction to get what they want.
A third follows a divorcing couple who still want each other.
The last shows a woman expressing desire through writing and finding acceptance.
The movie asks what happens after people feel desire and act on it.
Netflix's third Lust Stories anthology examines desire, identity, relationships and personal expression beyond sexual provocation.
The four stories are directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj.
Vikramaditya Motwane's story explores how a sexual experiment affects friendships and marriages after a boundary is crossed.
Shakun Batra's segment follows a divorcing couple who remain physically attracted despite their toxic relationship.
Vishal Bhardwaj's Hyderabad-set story shows desire finding expression through literature, imagination and eventual emotional acceptance.
