Railways Commissions 150 Gati Shakti Cargo Terminals Nationwide
Indian Railways has opened 150 special terminals for moving goods.
These terminals help factories, ports and markets connect by train.
Five projects in Gujarat were inaugurated, dedicated or started.
A new terminal at Shivlakha will help send salt from Kachchh to Mithapur by rail.
Special stainless steel containers were designed to make salt transport easier.

Indian Railways has commissioned 150 Gati Shakti Cargo Terminals across the country, according to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Vaishnaw inaugurated, dedicated or launched work on five terminals in Gujarat, including the Shivlakha terminal in Kachchh.
A salt-loaded freight train began operating from Shivlakha to Mithapur using newly developed stainless steel containers.
